Oh Mama N, where do I even begin. You are one of my favorite human beings in this entire universe. Needless to say, my adventurous package. If any sort of adrenaline rush is involved count him in. He is my foodie buddy used to be until he got all healthy on me lol. Like seriously who looks for a beer with 60 calories? (sorry secret revealed) LOL. Our endless conversation; with or without words, late night family gathering, a conversation about god knows what fills our living room with smiles and laughter. One of my favorite things about him is when he comes home, all this amazing food magically appears. He is someone who has the capability to get along with anyone and everyone. I still remember the time he took me to this uptight gathering, he then turns around and says “Fuchu, if it’s too boring we will ditch it and go drink margaritas”. I was shocked like did I just hear him say that? He is my shield, my mama and my best friend. He is someone I can be silly with, share all my secrets with (which he knows most of) and be myself. Mama, you have shown me how to dream and achieve it with grace, style and dignity. I have shared countless adventures and some of the best times of my life with you and I know it is just the beginning.
Some of my favorite memories are taking the Corvette to sand dunes, driving back home during a storm on your Harley, walking to the liquor store after realizing the bar sells terrible drinks, motivating me to finish the absurd hike and telling me I will carry you if I have to, but we are finishing this hike, so get up and start climbing. We have been on numerous hikes, but that was my absolute favorite because if you weren’t there I would have gone back home and missed out on such a magnificent view. Thank you for pushing me when I was about to fail and not letting me accept the defeat.
One of my favorite moments was during my wedding the groom side caught me by surprise and picked Ritesh up during the garland ceremony. I was confuzzeled and before I could even phantom what had happened, I was flying up in the air. I felt you lifting me up and being my pillar of strength as always. I absolutely have to share my other favorite moment. During the bidai ceremony of my wedding. Everyone was crying including myself. You came in and asked me if I was ready to go. Carried me to the door and started going around the car. I will let people out on a secret. Everyone sees that smiling picture, but no one knows the reason behind our smile. You were telling me Oh Bihey pani bayo, after all this is over let’s go grab some beer”. It was one of the best things I had heard all day after overwhelming rituals.
I love our late-night chat pate talks. Last but certainly not least please come over soon so we can go out to grab drinks to celebrate being a year younger, I’ll look for places with 60 calories beer LOL. Thank you for being the most awesome mama and best friend to me. You are one of my role model. You have helped me overcome many of my barriers and overall helped me grow as a better person. Thank you for guiding me through my flaws and encouraging me on my strengths to get better. Love you Mama Hare zindagi it got a little long Miss you and come visit us soon. I love you unconditionally.
